Application Tips

To use: Try any of the below or combine applications to find what is best for your skin type.

For Cheeks: Dispense a small amount into container lid, dip brush, and tap to remove excess, apply to cheeks. For best results: Our Foundation/Veil/Blush Brush is recommended and fits perfectly into the lid. Swirl the brush in the top to more evenly distribute the duster into ends, tap gently to remove excess. If still not as even as you would like (most important for heavy single applications than lighter single applications), try tapping/swirling on the backside of your clean hand. *Tip, Our new 2010 formulas require even a smaller amount of product for the same intensity of color. You may want to experiment by starting with a smaller amount of product.

For use on eyes: See Eye Dusters

For use on lips: 1. Stain/matte finish to lips: dispense as usual, dip lip brush (dampened with water or gloss for best results), and apply to lips or use as lip liner. 2. Apply one of our lip glosses, dip lip brush as in 1, and apply over gloss. 3. Combine one of our lip gloss colors with one or any combination of the Cheek/Eye/Lip Dusters colors using our lip brush, and apply to the lips. This can be mixed in the lid (Clean out lid before using on cheeks or eyes). Depending on the amount of Duster to Gloss, color choices, and way you apply, you can find endless results. From sheer and glossy, lipstick like, to a matte stain, it is easy to do. Have fun! *We recommend our Cruelty Free Pony Retractable Aluminum Lip Brush for best results.

For Brows: Big River Bronze looks great on brows that are red or brown with warm undertones. Gualala Gold looks great on blonde brows; the sparkle in the color can be made more subtle by applying dry in a back and forth motion. Both colors can be be given a deeper color and more precise/dramatic look used damp.
